Goals for 2014

So it's the start of a new year and that means it's time to make some new goals. Now I'm pretty happy with what I achieved last year. I got a new job and went on holiday abroad for the first time. Although not all were successful, I look forward to seeing how I get on with the goals I have for this year.

1) To use what make-up I have before buying more.
I've got a growing collection of make-up, especially lipsticks! My aim for this year is to save a bit on make-up products and use the ones I have. I know that if I look through my draws I can find some make-up products that I've totally forgot about. I think this is a great goal to help save money which also helps with my next goal I've set.

2) To move out of my parents house.
This has been my goal for a couple of years now but due to different reasons it has never happened. However I have a feeling this is the year. I've recently been accepted for a new job meaning more hours! So with this in mind hopefully I can find a lovely place with my friend and start my own little journey.

3) To plan things to do.
I love going on holiday and days out and this year I want to enjoy myself. So this year I want to plan things which I can do with family or friends. Whether that's going to a concert, days out to the seaside or a holiday abroad. With things plan I can then enjoy my year knowing I have things to look forward to.

4) To blog more.
Now this has been a goal of mine for a little while now. I would love to blog more however some days when I'm off work I just don't have the motivation. I need to kick my ass into gear and start planning blog post so I have something to write about. Also dedicating a certain amount a time a week to blogging may also help me to write more posts.

So they are my four goals, may add to them during the year if I think of anything else.

What are your goals for this year?

Holiday - Corfu, Greece

Last month me and my friend went to Corfu for a fortnight. We had been looking forward to going since we booked it early on in the year. We both work together and by the time it came to going on holiday we were in much need of a holiday!

I have to say it wasn't what we expected and we wouldn't go where we stayed again, however we made the most of the holiday we had. We took a two hour bus journey to Corfu Town which was lovely and also went to the water park one day which was fun! I thought that I would share some picture of the holiday with you.

Holiday: Duty Free Purchases

So I haven't been blogging for awhile now and that is because I've been on holiday! I spent two weeks in Corfu with my friend. It was definitely an experience as I've never been abroad or flown before. I enjoyed the plane journey more than my friend and she has been abroad before, which was funny!

Anyway the reason for this post is to show you what I bought from the duty free. It was something I was looking forward to knowing that I was going abroad. The airport in Corfu only had a small duty free compared to Birmingham.

With the money I had left I bought a few items, here are the items I bought.

I bought the Victoria Secret body mist gift set and Kinder mix at Corfu airport and then I bought the perfume on the plane.

I've always wanted to try Victoria Secrets products out! I've seen so many blogger post about the brand and was intrigued to try some products out for myself. I was looking at getting the body mists more than anything and I thought this gift set of five 60ml bottles was a good starter for me. I've tried a few of them and they are quite strong and fruity. Plus they look pretty next to my perfumes!

Kinder mix was something I bought to have on the plane and at home as I've missed chocolate whist being over there. Plus Kinder is one of my favourite brands of chocolate.

I knew that I wanted to buy a perfume to take home with me, but trying to work out if I bought it in euros how much it would be in pounds was a pain! As I don't want to come back and realise I could of got it cheaper in the UK. Anyway I choose Lady Gaga Fame. It's one that I've thought about getting, along with a long list of other. I tested this while in Corfu town and liked the smell of it, the price seemed decent so I bought it. Will do a review on the perfume once I've tried it a few times.

So I only bought a few things but I'm happy with my purchases and look forward to using and eat the chocolate, well I've eaten some of the chocolate already.

Holiday

I recently went on holiday to Great Yarmouth, well stayed outside Great Yarmouth in Caister.
Me and my friend decided we needed a break from work and thought a seaside holiday would be a nice get away for a week. The weather wasn't too bad and we went to many different places such as Cromer, Wells, Sherringham and also Norwich. Not to mention we got lost in Norwich trying to find the shopping centres which was fun.

It was a nice little get away and brought back memories of my childhood as I always used to go there as a child. We definitely spent too much money on the 2p machines and Grabbers, but it was all good fun.

Here are some photos from my holiday.
