Make-Up Haul

I went shopping with my friend a week or so ago now and picked up a few bits. I did go with the intentions to buy Christmas presents, which I did get but also got a few bits for me! I bought some clothes as well but will do a separate post about them.

It's only a small haul as I didn't want to buy a lot as I'm not sure what I'll get for Christmas.

First off I went into Superdrug and repurchased Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation as I really like it and how it brightens up my face and isn't too thick and heavy. I then bought Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner after reading a review ages ago. I'd been meaning to buy it months ago but never got around to it, plus I couldn't remember the exact name of it. I love these kind of applicators as it makes it so much easier to apply. I'm rubbish at applying eye liner at the best of time but this really helps me!

Last but not least I then went into Topshop. I have to say I don't really go into Topshop too often as I find it quite expensive, but I thought that I would treat myself! First thing I did was so to the make-up section of their shop. I love their make-up and also packaging as it's quite quirky. I already have one of their lipsticks from a giveaway I won ages ago and wanted to buy another one. After much consideration as they have so many different shades I finally ended up choosing this beauty! The shade is called "Boom Boom" and I love the way it looks on my lips. It's bright but not too bright if that makes sense, and helps to brighten up my face. I did a swatch of the shade as the picture above isn't very clear.

So that is all I bought on my make-up haul and I'm definitely looking into getting another Topshop lipstick very soon. I did take a glance at their make-up giftsets so maybe after Christmas I might buy one.

Recent Superdrug Purchases.

So I've been a bit quiet lately and that is because I went away for a week and just got back at the weekend. I will be doing a blog post on my holiday soon.

Anyway moving on. I've been to Superdrug, once while on holiday and then when I came back and
this is what I brought...

Revlon Lip Butter Shade Wild Watermelon.
I'm very much addicted to Revlon Lip butters and love the way they look and feel on my lips. They have some great shades and I can't wait to buy more! I've been eyeing up this shade wild watermelon for awhile, I love the red vibrant look and that fact it bring out my other facial features. Another reason I love it is that its not too overpowering on my pale face.

Maybelline Colour Show Polka dots
I've seen so many bloggers with this product and think it looks really great, so I had to try it out for myself! I really loved these two colours and at £2.99 it's a bargain! I love the way it looks on my nails and it's something different other than a plain nail polish. However I did have this on while on holiday and it chipped really easily.

Dove Pomegranate Deodorant
I've been meaning to get some more deodorant as I'm bored with the ones I have and also they are much needed in the hot weather. I love Dove for their fresh and clean smelling deodorant and when I spotted this pomegranate fragrance I had to buy it.

Garnier 2-1 Tinted Eye Roll-On
I already have one of these but after a couple of uses I realised it wasn't the right shade and was too dark for my pale skin. When I brought the other on I didn't see a "Fair" shade so thought medium would be alright. After going in a couple of weeks later I picked up the "Fair" shade and this is much better.

Superdrug Beauty Haul

I recently went to Superdrug to take full advantage of their 3 for 2 offer. I've seen so many beauty products that I want to try from bloggers reviews and haul, therefore I thought it was a great chance to purchase some of the products for myself.

What I bought
Garnier 2in1 Tinted Eye Roll-on £5.09 - Only tried this a couple of times since buying it and I love it! Really helps with my dark circles, and brightens up my eyes. (Not in 3 for 2 however reduced)

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation £8.99 - This was in the 3 for 2 and I had to buy it after purchasing the concealer as I felt it really helped with my dark circles and to freshen up under my eyes. I'm hoping this is as good as the concealer.

Revlon Lip Butter Strawberry Shortcake £7.99 - Also in 3 for 2 purchased this after losing my other Revlon Lip Butter down the toilet. (I blame the alcohol!) However decided to purchase a different shade as I wasn't too keen on the other I had.

Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner £5.29 - My freebie from the 3 for 2 offer. I brought this as I find the applicator for applying this eye liner is much more easier, even thought I still never get it right!

I will be reviewing these products in more detail as I get round to using them.
